Trump the Conspiracy Theorist

CJ-Moki here. I'm really sorry that this is the third post in a row with a Trump tweet embedded: For starters, it appears as though President Trump has determined "Russia talk", most likely referring to discussion of the Russian government's likely interference in the 2016 election process, as well as their involvement in the Trump administration, to be intentional misinformation. More disturbing is his claim that the Democratic Party spread the "FAKE NEWS", giving an image that everybody in his party's primary opposition are enemies to be shunned.

Also of note is Trump's claim that the "FAKE NEWS" is an attempt to mask the "illegal leaks", suggesting that Trump thinks that the very existence of all leaked information about his administration is against the law. This is a disturbing look at President Trump's idea of the legal system, reflecting his prior inexperience with politics.

I don't know about you, but I am worried at the possibility that the Commander-in-Chief is taking a page from the books of conspiracy theorists, by suggesting that discussion of his involvement with Russia is an attempt by his primary opposition to bury their loss in the election and leaks about his administration.

CJ-Moki, signing off. Monday's post will be Trump-free.

  1. Have a little sympathy for a man so burdened by his ego that he must invent stories to demean those who disagree with him.
